CBMR restore, winPE mode not responding.

Hi all,

I am trying to restore win 2k3 from tape library using TSM. I'm using CBMR v6.2.1. But my restoration process interface is not responding after the version of backup were selected. I'm waiting for hours and still, nothing happen. I think the interface were stuck when the Volume Layout are trying to prompt.

After i try to unplugged the fibre cable (connected with SAN storage) and redo the restoration process, its working and the restoration completed.

Is there any configuration/setting that i done wrong. Is there any other way to run the restore without unplugged the Fibre cable.
Please advice. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

It sounds like there could be issues with the driver for the SAN card.

I would suggest contacting Cristie support who I am sure would be able to help further with this.

Hi, thanks for the respond..

The issue was solved by boot using cbmr recovery version 622...the version ive used before was 621..

Cristie just released CBMR 6.3.1 whit the ability to run automated restores.
