Hi.

Sorry for my terrible English.

I have a tsm server 6.2.1 with 1600 virtual volumes (seqdisk volum), 220 of them is readonly for some reason.
When I try to "upd vol /TapeDisk5/0004A350.BFS access=readw" I get an error i return:

"ANR2405E UPDATE VOLUME: Volume /TapeDisk05/0004A350.BFS is currently in use by
clients and/or data management operations."

The volume is not i use and they are all empty.
If you need more info please ask.

Any help is appreciated.

Ivan

Any reclamation running?

What does 'q vol /TapeDisk05/0004A350.BFS f=d' return? What does 'q content /TapeDisk05/0004A350.BFS' return?

Hi.

The server is a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.8 (Tikanga)

One more question: How often do you run Database Backup?
