cannot open TSM GUI

I have configured TSM client dsmc works bur when i do dsmj i get the following error.


Exception in thread "main" java.awt.HeadlessException:
No X11 DISPLAY variable was set, but this program performed an operation which requires it.

I am not sure if this error is related to TSM or unix itself.

I tried in different ways in past two months, i wonder if anyone have/had got the same issue so that they can help me.

X windows might be running but the java support for it might not be right.

I don't have issues running TSM GUI on KDE, remote dekstop via VNC, etc. Make sure java is configured properly.
