Can a backup from AIX be restored to Linux

Backup from an AIX server, restore to a Linux Server.
for files I believe there is no issue.
for TDP/Oracle - ??

For TDPO/Oracle it depends of endianness. You have to check if the target CPU has the same endianness (big-endian or little-endian). An another solution is to use the RMAN convert command.
