Greetings!
We are doing BMR with WINPE on win 2008 32 bit server.
We are following this tutorial: https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/...2008 R2, Windows 7, and Windows Vista?lang=en

We are restoring on a virtual machine.
At the point of diskpart and listing all the volumes I see only cd-rom shown. Do i need to create partition on disk before going to command: dsmc restore systemstate?
The tutorial is not mentioning anything about manully creating partition and disks.

In DISKPART, list volumes shows me only CD/DVD-rom, but if i do list disk I see 1 disk. Soo it's a controller driver problem on vmware? I had similiar problems with a network at the begining and I have followed the hyperlink you are mentioning to insert vmware NIC drivers, but that did not work. I then manually selected type of a NIC on virtual machine to E1000. I did not recreate ISO WIN-PE with Vmware drivers because I thought they ain't working or needed.
