Hi,
For a while now, the WebGUI restore/backup client was hanging while browsing folder with a lot of files/sub-folders. I called IBM a few times, but could not get the problem resolved. As it turns out, you need to turn off the java client local cache completely.
On windows:
Right click the Java icon, choose control panel.
Go to Temporary internet files, uncheck "stock temp. Internet files locally".
That was such a pain to solve that i thought i'd share it here.
