Backup Sites with *

Hi Guys,
my problem is difficult to explain, but i try it.
The number of sites grow up every day. But I dont save the whole Server in one Plan. It is possible to save all sites with name http:test\test\* in one Backupplan and site with http:\test\test2\* in a nother plan?
For example I have six Sites. Four sites named "http:test\test\1" and "http:test\test\2"
"http:test\test\3" and "http:test\test\4". Now i create a Plan with this 4 Sites. But the next day the Sharepointuser create a Site with name "http:test\test\5". Now i musst modify the old Plan an add the new Site.
It is possible to save site with the same "first letters"?

What are you using to protect your SP environment? We are using TSM for SharePoint and simply select the root of the farm. You can also make two backup plans one to back up A-P and the other to backup P-Z. The backup will scan P twice but that covers you from any newly created sites on each side of <P>.

A screen shot of what you are dealing with might be beneficial.

I use TSM for Sharepoint(6.1.3. = DocAve 5.5.3.1) too. But I think i solved my problem. Anyhow, thanks for you help.
