Backup Netapp NFS shares

Hi, I have just created our first NFS SVM on Netapp cDOT and presented NFS shares to RHEL servers. Initially no backup needed. However, I now need to back up the NFS shares. We use TSM but our TSM
guys have no experience of doing this.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Manuals / best way?

thanks Rob

In the 8.1 doc for the Unix and Linux client, page 186.
The doc mentions NetApp snapshots, so be sure to read the bullet point regarding that limitation.
Depending on how many shares/nfs version may want to look at the section talking about VIRTUALMOUNTPOINT.

I've yet to backup NFS mounts via Spectrum Protect, however will be going down this road very soon.

Hope it helps!
