Backing up system objects

I am not sure how to ensure that the system objects are being backed up nightly. I have manually backed them up using the GUI interface, but I am not sure what needs to be in the dsm.opt file to make sure that it is being backed up nightly. I have the need to ensure that they are backed up as these are W2K servers that are active directory domain controllers.



Any help would be appreciated.

Backup of SYSTEMOBJECT happens by default if DOMAIN=ALL LOCAL statement is present.

You can specify just the C:\ drive and include SYSTEMOBJECT just to be safe with the line



DOMAIN C: SYSTEMOBJECT



You can also verify it's been backed up by typing "query systemobject" in the client command line.
