At present we are not looking to use VM tags for backup control. However we need to be able to restore any tags associated with a VM if and when it is restored
We are about to upgrade to SP 8.1.17. Does this version back up the tags associated with a VM and also restore them. Looking through the client manual it still refers to tags only as a backup control mechanism and not part of the backup itself.
Is there a specific setting required to enable the protection of VM tags.
