Hi all,
We have a problem about some client data around 4GB that must keep as never expire, so we used b/a client archive these data and setup Archive Copy Group as retain nolimit, it work fine!
but when we tried to copy this stg pool to other tape stg pool for offsite vault, the problem will arise, because the offsite tape will not expired and reuse same as onsite tape, but the onsite tape will continue used until it fulled and offsite will not, By now we will take one tape to offsite that just used less 2% and never return and reuse on onsite, it may waste a lot of tape. Anyone can give me some idea?
