Why the heck does IBM fix things that are not broken. I can no longer pass Command line options when executing the GUI? Virtualnode no longer works?
That is fine for those of us who know how to use the command line, but for the clients that do their own backup and recovery and can care less about learning the command line, it is absolutely rediculous. Why woudl you release a new version with less functionality?
Not to mention that now I have to install JRE 1.4.1 or higher?
MAybe I am missing something, what does this new architecture buy the users of TSM? I can see why they want a portable client for *nix clients, but let us open our mutiple opt files in the gui if we prefer.
