Hello,

I am facing below error while trying to login to TSM client using command line.
"ANS5283E The operation was unsuccessful"

This client had tsm 5.5 installed and was backing up to tsm 5.5 server before. Now after upgrading the BAclient to 7.1 and while trying to connect to new TSM server 7.1. We have this issue.

BA client 5.5 is clean uninstalled and client rebooted.

What operating system is hosting the 7.1 TSM Client ?

Did we just issue dsmc and then we got the ANS5283E?
Or did we issue something like dsmc incr ?
What was the full syntax that we issue ?

In the dsmerror.log were there any message(s) leading up to the ANS5283E?

From the os that is hosting the TSM Client, were there any error message(s) around the time frame of when the TSM Client produce the ANS5283E?

On the TSM Server activity log, were there any message regarding the client in question?
