ANS2600S :Browser trying to establish connection to client

Hi,

I am moving the ndmp configuration from windows 2003 server to windows 2008
I have configured and opened local inbound firewall for ports 1581 and 1582
Using the http://st-w3194.statoil.net:1582/BACLIENT from the terminal server to check if restore works
I am getting below error
ANS2600S :Browser trying to establish connection to client, received socket exception:java.net ConnectException:Connection timed out connect

The version of TSM client on windows was 5.3 and after moving to windows 2008 the TSM client version is 5.5.4

Please help in this

You should be using the BA client V7.1 with the Windows 2008 installed instead of BA client V5.5.4

Always check the compatibility table ...

ok so this thread is old but did I missed the answer for this?

I'm getting the same error.
This is not a server I'm trying to backup/restore, this is my desktop/laptop which I configured with dsm.opt file pointing to the correct server. It was working. I stopped working after I moved buildings. Not sure if it has anything to do with it.

Proxy set on your browser? Try without.
