i'm trying to fix a problem with archive option.
We have a beta48 schedule job that every day run an archive with the follow parameters
dsmc archive -archmc=MC_10YEARS -optfile=/opt/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/hostname.opt -subdir=yes -delete /path/*.tar.gz
This path is a NFS nas share. Into this path i have also the .snapshot to recover the file in case of problem.
Now i would avoid to archive this path
Into the opt file i have
Servername hostname.app
SUBDIR Yes
TAPEPROMPT No
ARCHSYMLinkasfile No
exclude.archive /path/.snapshot/.../*
When i try to start manually the command i receive always the same error
ANS1691I The option 'EXCLUDE.ARCHIVE' that was found in the options file '/opt/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/hostname.opt' at the line number: 5 is not supported and will be ignored by the client.
Where am i wrong ?
