ADSM.ORG new view

I am not liking the new setup of ADSM.ORG too much. I see duplicated posts and was wondering why the change?

agreed - it is confusing - seems we see every single post instead of last status of the thread - cannot find anything in the (personal) settings to switch it to the previous mode.
+1 vote here to switch it back.

Sorry about the inconveniences Rallingham

We are trying to minimize unnecessary changes but the changes were forced on by applying forum software security patches.

The forum software and custom mods that were used became increasingly less compatible as number of patches were applied.

I also liked the previous version better but couldn't risk being hacked running vulnerable software.

I understand. It is too bad that forum software has caused such a change and as Harry notes, you keep seeing multiple posts instead of a proper thread. Thanks again for the explanation.

I guess we just have to use the new format more to get used to it.

PHP type websites indeed has a lot of 'holes' and can be mostly avoided via updates. Unfortunately, updates needs format changes.
