ADIC Scalar 24 cleaning tape

Networker 7.4 MS Windows Srver 2003.

I have problem to find out how to move cleaning tapes from slot 22 to slot 21. I could use command move through LCD and I can set up src of tape to move up 16 slot - which is populated with cartiges, while cleaning tapes are on slot 22 and 23. The same case is with export command. Am I missing something?
Do I have manually to get the cleaning tape out and move to slot 21?

you have to move it manually and use the autoclean option within scalar BIOS instead of TSM Based.

Hi,

When using deposit command from networker , The Tapes are moved from I/O slots to the free available slots on the networker. Once the tapes are moved you need to either use LCD panel or use sjimm command to move cleaning tapes to the desired slot.
