I am having an issue addinga new tape library to my TSM 6.2 server. I am running on pSeries Linux.
The library is a TS3200 and is connectted to the TSM server via a scsi. The adapter is a duel port HBA scsi (5700).

I have two TS3200 libraries that are connected with a Fibre HBA that work fine.

I cannot get linux to see the new library. a lsscsi shows this.

    [root@gurgle lin_tape1.41.1]# lsscsi

I can see the 4 tape drives and two changes that are curently functional on the server, but I cannot see the
TS3200 added with the scsi HBA card.

According to a TSM doc, you have to uninstall and reinstall the IBM device drivers to get the new library to be recognized.

    I did rpm -e lin_tape lin_taped and, then rpm -i lin_tape and lin_taped.

In the above listing it looks like linux can see the adapter
    [0:255:255:255]no dev IBM 5702001 0150 -
    [1:255:255:255]no dev IBM 5702001 0150 -

but it does not recognize the devices.
Please note, there are two 5702 adapters, one is internally wired to the boot HD and the other is
plugged into the TS3200 a want to bring on line.

I sure could use a hint on this. Thanks.

    Tom
