Active Log Mirror is 50 times larger than Active log !!!

Hi All ,

we have a tsm database where the active log size is only around 100 MB out of the allocated 56GB.... and active log mirror is using 52GB out of the allocated 56Gb ... why is it this way... we do not have any problems in terms of the servers speed , i/0 and so on... do we need to peform any housekeeping activites for the active log mirror on the db2 side ??? like log pruning ???
