6.3.X EOS date

#1
Hello,

we have 6.3.5 TSM version in our environment, and we are little bit confused about EOS date.

According to this:

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21982265&acss=danl_4181_email

EOS date is 30.04.2017

but according to this, version 6.4 which was shipped de facto with 6.3.3 TSM version:

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg3c915146g66275t24&acss=danl_4181_email

EOS date is 30.09.2017

We are confused which one EOS date is suitable for our 6.3.5 TSM, can anybody explain above ?

Thank you in advance

Note: The initial release of TSM 6.4 shipped the TSM server at the 6.3.3 server level. TSM 6.4 supports the TSM server at 6.3.3 and higher 6.3 server levels, until TSM 6.4 reaches EOS.
What I understand is if your are using TSM 6.4 clients, that will be supported on 6.3.3 servers or higher until 6.4 is out of support. But I could be wrong. Best bet is to talk to your IBM rep.

If you dig deep enough, IBM is fairly clear that the 6.3.3+ server shipped with 6.4 is supported until September 30, 2017.
