TSM Library change from TS3310 to TS3500 media inaccessible error

Hello Experts,

We have our old library which is LTO-5(TS3100) and our new library is LTO-7(TS3500), we want to move data from old library to new library.

We don't want to do migrating or either backup storage pool, we have made changes in the device class by changing the library name from old library to new library, when try to mount tapes, it shows the following errors.

ANR1216E BACKUP STGPOOL: Process 1 terminated - storage media inaccessible.

Let us know if this scenario works well any suggestions..?

Hopefully you have drives and paths online for the new one.

All media must be checked out from the old, and checked into the new one.
