Upgrade from 7.10 to 7.1.3

Hi

I have done this upgrade succesfully on a couple of servers but now I encountered one where the installation process fails at about the 75% marker (console installation).

The log file in /var/ibm/InstallationManager/logs/native -says :

"/bin/chmod: cannot access `ese': No such file or directory
chmod() returned with error status 1"

There is also another log file one folder up under .../logs and it says :

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: invalid version "8.0.50.44
gskcrypt64.8.0.14.14": invalid qualifier "44
gskcrypt64.8.0.14.14"

I have tried to uninstall gskcrypt and tried different versions of it but the end result is always the same.

Has anyone bumped into this and found a work around?

Got it, I'll answer my own question just in case someone else is struggling with this : Remove all TSM client components from the server, including dependencies such as gskcrypt and gskssl.
