In the IBM Knowledge Center, I'm told that you can install the Operations Center on the same computer as TSM/Spectrum Protect, or a "on a different computer". I have two TSM servers, but I don't want to load Ops Center on either. I'd rather put it on it's own server.

The part that isn't clear to me is whether the stand-alone Ops Center computer needs a copy of TSM, and it's database running on it as well, or if the Operations Center packages can be installed by themselves. The IBM Knowledge Center instructions seem to assume that you are going to load Ops Center on a server already configured for TSM.

Thanks, that's what I had hoped to do. I was hoping to avoid setting up another TSM DB2 DB. That answers my question.
