Tsm 7.1 web access is very limited.. have another access?

Dear Friends

my ibm tsm 7.1 have a address https://iptsmserver:11090/oc/

but this access is very limited,

is there any other access that I can see reports, schedules and etc?

Make sure you have the latest version of the Operation Center, new features get introduced all the time.

While you can use the Operational Reporter 5.5 like stated previously, keep in mind that it's no longer supported by IBM, so the only support you will get for it will be on ADSM.org.

You can also use TSM's Reporting and Monitoring if you are looking for a reporting solution:

Im have the last version of Operations Center - 7.1.0.000 - Build 20131126-1623

But im dont find the Operational Reporter.. This software is optional?

Actually, 7.1.1.200 is the latest: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=663&uid=swg21239415

You won't find Operational Reporter included with your 7.1 software, it was part of the 5.5 server (7 year old version, went out of support 2 years ago). You will need to download the 5.5 console to get the Operational Reporting.

Dear Friend

In version 5.3.2 im have a option to see the report in object view > automation > client schedules > query client events.

But in version 7.1.0 im dont have this option.. im can use the Download for TSM V6.3 Monitoring and Reporting (Aug 2014) ??

The version 6.3 is the last and more newer than 5.5!! right ?

Oh, you are talking about the webadmin from the prehistoric days. 5.2 was the last version, but they did still ship it with 5.3. You can see your schedule in the Operation Center, 7.1, just click on Clients -> Schedules and you will see the status.

If you actually want historical reports, and not just the status of the last schedule, then download the 7.1 Reporting and Monitoring from Passport Advantage (same place you downladed the TSM Server 7.1

Dear Friend

Yes , my version is 5.2.3.2. and yes it is prehistoric.. im create a new server with Version 7.1.0.0

But in clients im dont find the Schedules Section inside Clients...

Im want to see reports about backups same im see in the 5.2.3.2 version, but im don´t find any section to do that

what is the best kind to to that ?

Note, you have to put the mouse over Clients, do not click, a drop down menu will appear and you will see Schedules there, assuming it's available at your version, if not upgrade to 7.1.1.200.
 
my version is 7.1.0.0!

7.1.1.300 is not released yet, but you can upgrade to 7.1.1.200

Administration Center is the admin web interface used from 5.3 to 6.3. It's being replaced by the Operation Center, because the Operation Center doesn't have all the features yet, some customers still use the Administration Center 6.3.5 to manage do the functions not in the Operation Center. By the next few release, the Operation Center should have a lot more features. You can use one or the other, or both.

Myself, I'm from the prehistoric age, I stick to the command line.
