Hi all,
we have a problem, we backup since years with the same command line
when we upgraded the TSM to 7and now 8, we noticed a problem with the dsmj GUI.
Every time we open the GUI, it takes hours to complete, during this process, no backup or restore is possible.
We already got in contact with IBM, unfortunately, they cant help. theyanswered the following
"
Unfortunately development has not think of any good way to convert old
existing V2 client data to new version data since it is determined during archive. The only option we see is to retrieve such old V2 client data and delete from server then perform archive again. However such steps are complex and time consuming since we need to identify those V2 client objects first, then do the above steps for all of them but
unfortunately the only way to replace V2 archives."
Do anyone know how to find out which data is backuped with the V2 option?
I've already asked, but havent get an answer since weeks.
