Thanks guys (Jeff and Joseph) ... what you say regarding the restores make sense. I suppose I went off on a tangent as this discussion reminded me of a similar incident. We were surprised about the unexpected size of a client's incrementals, and later discovered that the full had expired (before the next full), so a subsequent incr was equivalent to a full (almost).
