You might be stuck. Clearing the archive bit requires accessing the
data at the file system level. NDMP is a lower level protocol that is accessing
at a block level.
Out of curiosity, why do you need to clear the archive bit? My
experience is the archive bit is not very reliable for determining when a file
should be backed up. I always recommend using the time stamp instead.
