Did this happen with no change or patching?  If so there may have been a change 
that caused this.  There have been technote resolutions that resulted patch 
updates see example yes just example below.  There are other resolutions when 
you search "status code 24" on the support site.    

If there were changes in your environment and you've recently done some tuning 
parameter changes see forum resolution below, memory fully utilized.  I've seen 
this one on many occasions after tuning and deploying the settings in 
production.
