Subject: [Veritas-bu] NBU on AIX with VIO

Have a strange situation going on hoping someone can help with.

Environment:
Global Cluster NBU 7.0.1 Solaris Master Server
W2K8 Media server in data center A and B
Physical AIX boxes in data center A
AIX domains on VIO server (sorry if this is the wrong terminology, not that
familiar with VIO but hopefully you get the idea) in data center B
Backups running over a VLAN backup network

Client A in data center B that lives on the VIO server can successfully
complete
a backup to Media server A in data center A
Client B in data center A that is a stand alone server can successfully
complete
a backup to Media Server B in data center B
Client B in data center A that is a stand alone server can successfully
complete
a backup to Media Server A in data center A

However, if you try and run a backup from Client A in data center B to the
Media
Server B in Data Center B the backup fails with a status code 41
No firewalls in place
All configuration default connection options

Any ideas? Need any more info?

Reneé Carlisle
