What do you get if you do an nslookup from/to all three servers on both name and IP address?

I have following configuration

 

Master server - Solaris 9 - NB6.5.4

 

Media server  - Solaris 9 - NB6.5.4

 

Client - Win2003 SP2 - NB6.5.4

 

Issue : Backup starts and goes to hung state without writing any data  :
