Is it possible to back up multiple raw disk in a logical volume on hp-ux?

 

The volume is too big for me to back up, so I want to backup the individual disks that make up the logical volume.

 

I'm trying to do this using the VxFS_Snapshot method.

 

Backup selection list:

 

/dev/rdsk/c10t0d5
/dev/rdsk/c10t0d6
/dev/rdsk/c10t0d7
/dev/rdsk/c10t1d0

 

 

I've tried doing the backup with the logical volume in the backup selection list and it works:

 

/dev/vx/dsk/gexdg1/volhdata

 

 

again I wanted to do the backup with multiple streams so I'm trying to specify the raw disks that make up the logical volume group.

 

any help is appreciated.
