Anybody running a clustered 6.5.x or 7.0 master on Windows 2003 or 2008 with
MSCS?
Looking at this option for a new 10,000+ job per night master.
Any comments are appreciated.
------
We are running a Windows 2003 32-bit MSCS cluster with NBU 6.5.5 Master and are
running +/- 3000 jobs a day without any issues. 2 Quad-core CPU's with 16 GB
memory per node.
We will however go to NBU 7 on a Windows 2008 X64 MSCS cluster pretty soon.
Recommendation: If you use the Windows GUI, do not run it on the NBU active
node but on the passive node. You will get much better response.
