This is completely dependent on the input data streams.  We've got some data sets that get great de-dupe and some that absolutely suck.  We de-dupe our primary VMware storage on our NetApps and cut our storage requirements in half.

We've got 2 similar sites doing de-dupe on their archives on the NetApps - one gets 66% and another 13%.
