Yes, NBU 7 seems to be very good. Especially because I do not
have to see the puredisk GUI again J.
I’m trying to test the FA and that’s why I have the “fight” with
the wmware team.
I just need to confirm that I’m right

I'm not a VMware guy but I believe that vStorage is part of
VMware. It's up to NetBackup to use those APIs to do the backups.
That's all part of NetBackup 7 which has gone FA and is due to go GA in another
week or so. It looks really, really good and once we get NBU 7 installed
(probably March or April for us), then I'll have a serious look at the new
backup interfaces to VMware.

Hi to all,
The last few days I have a “fight” with my
company’s Vmware guys about vStorage.
Can anyone tell me what is vStorage and how I can get it?
Is vStorage a VMware product or a third party
API?
Who must install and configure vStorage, the
backup team or VMware team?
Any other info will e useful
Thanks
