Do you perform the restore on the actual "client" itself or from the Master?

How many folks here can do successful os restores of windows 200x servers? It is about 50/50 for me. I do everything the same and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Rebuild the client OS to the same version and sp level. Install the client (to current version) do restore of everything. Reboot and it comes back or doesn't.
