You need to upgrade to 6.5.4.  It was the first release to support 64
bit Windows systems.   I'm not sure on how well it works, because I've
switched to a different shop, but yes, what you are seeing is expected
with 6.5.3 and Windows 64 bit OS.

Hi All
I think this may be an out of support issue, but thought I would roll it
on the list in case anyone else seen it...

Setup is 32-bit NBU 6.5.3 Win2k3 SP2
New client is 64-bit Win2k R2 SP2 with Netbackup client 6.5.3 and SQL
Server DB extension.

While running a test backup, the BMR option failed with the following...

02/09/2009 10:54:53 - Error bpbrm(pid=6652) BMRERR: Did not receive bmr
client request from pthvcentre01, status = 0
02/09/2009 10:54:53 - end writing
Status 26

The file level backup completed fine, with no errors.

I found a web link, but is failing with Page cannot be displayed. It
looks like BMR may not work with 64-bit Win2k3 R2, but can anyone
clarify?
