I added it to the master server properties, but it didn't help. Any
other ideas?

Thanks!

Does it show up as a media server in the media server list?

If not

Go to master server properties and add the server name to other servers
and to media server list.

A coworker has been working with a system as a new media server. He has
added it to the database with the nbemmcmd -addhost command and assigned
media to it from a media server it is replacing.

Here is the problem.

It doesn't show up in the list of available media servers when trying to
add a robot or a storage unit AND when running nbemmcmd -listhosts.

What the heck am I overlooking?

Thanks

Layne
