Well pretty much everything is
hung, but I don’t think there was a catalog backup going. It starts with killing
the nbemmcmd. J

Is it just this command or everything? I’ve
noticed when a catalog backup is in progress everything else seems to be hung
until it finishes.

I tried Googling and looking at STN but I cannot find the
answer. What steps need to be taken when nbemmcmd is hung. I can’t
believe you need to shut everything down and reboot!
