I have used the same syntax from 5.1->6.0MPX and never had a problem:

$ sudo /usr/openv/volmgr/bin/vmchange -h backup-host -api_eject -map any -res 
-ml 
C10666:C04731:C10506:C01438:C03726:C04107:C02069:C01829:C04453:C03791:C10958:C03838:C03635:C03787:C10312:C10151:C10585:C07186:C07468
 -rt ACS -rn 0 -rh media-server-with-drives-in-acsls-robot

But now I get:
Control daemon connect or protocol error (224)

In the volmgr/debug logs:

I have a case open with Symantec and it seems like a vm.conf issue but this
has not been an issue in the past, has anyone experienced any problems
ejecting tapes from 5.1/6.0MPX to 6.5.x using an ACSLS robot?
