[Veritas-bu] Phase 1 import CLI
2009-06-07 14:14:05
Hello list,
Hypothetical Situation:
You have a group of tapes from one NetBackup environment that you want
to import into another Netbackup environment (like a DR site). You put
in your batch of tapes and perform the phase 1 import via the command
line. Once you've performed phase 1 against all your media, you do a
bpimport -PM to get a list of all the available images for a phase 2
import. If you want to import *all* of the images, you could just type
bpimport with no options and let it import all the images.
BUT
Let's say you see 1 image that you realize you don't need. Is there a
way to delete that one image from the list of phase 1 imports so that
you could then type bpimport with no options and let NetBackup import
the remaining images? I'm guessing the way to do that is through
bpimport or maybe bpexpdate. I've skimmed the Unix and Linux Command
Line manual and I'm not seeing the command or command option I'm
expecting to see.
Thank you.
