I am still having the same issue after Veritas Support suggested to create an
empty file
<install_path>\VERITAS\NetBackup\NOSHMDUP
Problem Still persisted
Error bpduplicate (pid=3640) socket read failed: errno = 10054 - An existing
connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
Error bptm (pid=2104) Could not open file Global\NetBackup Media Manager SHM
Info Path <client>_1241780450_copy1_2 to get shared memory information, The
system cannot find the file specified.

I did try just one duplication job failed with same error.
System resources are sufficient, no error in system or applicaiton log
Any other suggestions. Thanks

How many duplication jobs are you kicking off at once? Or, are the fragments
very large?
You should check to see if you have any insufficient system resources messages
in the application log on the media server.

NetBackup Enterpriese 6.5.3 on W2K3 SP2
Backing up to SATA disk and staging to LTO4-FC daily
I am using Basic Disk Staging with schedule, but the staging to tape was
partially successful with below error messages. What could be the real causes
