I think you're right on this -- the default was set to 7 days. I just edited that one, and we'll see tomorrow whether an 8th day shows up. Thank you for your assistance.

The retention level of the Default-Application-Backup schedule determines how long images are kept.
Retention for Automatic Backup schedule controls how long NetBackup keeps records of when scheduled backups have occurred (not how long images are kept).

SQL backups in the policy have retention level set to two weeks, but Netbackup is only retaining the images for one week. Is there a setting that I am missing? We need the images to be retained for two weeks.
