Hi,
I did
the following test with success
I
tested on a basic environment backing up the /var sleleton ans backing up
completely /var/log subfolder
bash-2.03# cat
exclude_list.test-s240rbk1_2
/var/*/*
bash-2.03# cat
include_list.test-s240rbk1_2
/var/log/*
The
number of asterix is important.

Include lists override exclude lists. So your policy would have
/ in the backup selection, select cross mount points, and then create an
exclude_list file on the client with / in it, and an include_list file with
the specific folders that you want backed up. This should be
