I've got quite a few "war stories" from configuring RMAN on Windows and
Linux to work with NBU.  Is there something in particular you are asking
about?  If I ad to summarize my experience I would say:

1) Use the environment variables passed from NBU to RMAN to call the
appropriate Policy / Schedule in NBU
2) Depending on your DR Strategy be very careful with your transaction
log backups / know what you backup when and which media you'll need for
DR.
3) To do an alternate host restore you have to configure the local
Netbackup client with the source server's client name so when RMAN
queries NBU it looks for the correct images.  Also,     I think you need
the No.Restrictions file to pull this off.

Good luck!  It took us a few months to get it right, but they have been
solid since.

We are just starting to use RMAN with Netbackup.  The installation of
the Netbackup Oracle Agent just creates a link in the oracle RMAN
library directory that allows RMAN to work with the Netbackup agent.  I
would be interested in any problems you uncover when setting this up.
We hit a few bumps before we got RMAN working well with the Netbackup
Oracle Agent.
