All

I am getting confused now.

We are getting status 25 error codes on one of our media servers.

Operating System Solaris 8
Kernel Build 117-35-47
Netbackup 6 MP5

The current setting is 60000 (1 minute)

I want to drop this by half t0see if it helps.

Does anyone have any recommendation to what level we should set this at?

The document below states not to change the level of 60000 for Solaris 9

RFC1122 Section 4.2.2.13

Closing a connection on page 87

Thanks
