I would like to track the performance of my tape drives to see what the throughput is. I am running Netbackup 5.1 for Linux (Suse) with 12 LTO3 drives and I want to make sure I am using them to the max. I backup around 40TB/day, and all the drives are used constantly, but I want to look for bottlenecks (if there are any).

I am sure someone has done this before, I am just looking for a starting point.
