I have 2 synthetic backup policies that run a real full quarterly, set backup window on Sunday and 85 day frequency.

Using nbpemreq -predict <date> it looks like its going to work well

Well, it sounded good. You can’t use “last Friday” (calendar based) with Frequency. You can have Calendar based or Frequency based but not both.

I'd think that last Friday of the month with an 89 or so day frequency would do it...if that can be configured, that is.

[Veritas-bu] Quarterly Backups and Calendar Schedule

Does anyone know of an easier way to configure a Quarterly backup
schedule to run on the last Friday of the Quarter other than going in
and manually selecting those 4 dates in the year for each policy? I can
do last Friday of the month but not last Friday of the Quarter. Just
wondering if there was an easier way.
