I've been running a test instance (single server, disk unit, no tapes)
of NBU65 on a 32bit linux system, and after about 20+ days, top is
reporting the process of nbevtmgr to be using about 1.5GB of ram.
Restarting the services causes it to release this apparent memory
footprint, and go back to what I would consider normal, approximately
300MB for nbevtmgr.
I recently upgraded my production Sparc Solaris 10 systems to NBU 6.5
and after only 6 days, nbevtmgr is only sitting on 271MB of ram.
Symantec support doesn't give many results for queries on this process.
Any one else seeing this happen? Am I misreading the linux version of top?
