We recently replaced the hardware that our master server runs on. We went
from a V880 running Solaris 8 to a T2000 running Solaris 10. We're running
Netbackup 5.1MP4. Our catalog backups used to take no more than 2 hours to
complete, now they're running 4 hours and longer. When I run a Iostat, I can
see between 6000, and 11,000 kb/s going to the tape drives. (LTO2). When I
run a OS backup of the master, I can see roughly 30,000 kb/s.

We already disabled tcp_fusion, per Symantec's request, but it doesn't seem
to help.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Maybe some kernel tweeks for the T2000 and solaris 10.
