My knowledge of Novell is pretty limited and I am trying to set
up some targets that only back up specific directory structures. Here's
the scenario:
On system A:
There are three directories right under
the server level I only want to backup up two of them. I never need
the third one. The third one is the groupwise folder. I though if I
only created a files target, and not a groupwise target it wouldn't get backed
up, but that is not the case.
System B:
System B has four directories right
under the server level. We want to back up three of them every week, and
one of them only once a month. While creating the target, we selected the
three folders we wanted to back up, separated by commas. Then we created a
second target on the system, with a different name, and only selected the
"images" folder that we want to back up only once a month. That did not
work either.
Can someone walk me through the process
of includes/excludes on Novell?
Thanks
